I can relate. I used to sell mobile and modular homes. (Shultz, Astro and Fleetwoods) I used to get funny looks from men when I would tell them about the construction of the homes, like I wouldn't know a 2x4 from a tube of lipstick. Geezz. I don't know when these guys are going to catch on that what they THINK they know isn't all that hard for anyone to learn. By the way, I found it all fascinating.  |

I can relate. I "built" modulat homes, I did everything but roof and frame. I took alot of crap from the guys because the only other woman who had ever worked there besides me was the bosses daughter. They stopped messing with me when they figured out I could do their job the same if not better than they could. Not to mention on top of everything else they put me in charge of time cards. Those monkeys didnt fill it out right I had the authority to pull it and they didnt get paid. they started with "You cant do that!" Oh yea? Whatch me! hahaha........I hope things get better for you there. Sometimes I just takes time. How long have you been there?  |

At least the workers leave you alone. Dreamer is right, people suck, not all of them but a whole heck of a lot of them. If its the customer you just kinda have to smile and think bad thoughts about them LOL. Yes, SS, I said THINK...People are like that when it comes to women. The looks I got the few times I went to a junk yard to get parts for my car, youd swear I was purple with green polka dots and then when they relized I knew what I wanted add a few horns to that lol. |
