Hmm the only way I have found to get past writter's block is to just quit thinking about writting for awhile. ~~ |

I've had it for a long, long time. Months now. If you find any answers on how to get over it, let me know. - |

Start by going on a long bike ride. That may sound foolish. At the worst, you get some exercise. Often, when I'm riding my bike, I have those Ah ha moments that turn into a story. Since I'm not at a keyboard, I tend to work out a lot of the details of a story before I even start to type. Some of my best efforts have come while doing something entirely unrelated to writing. So go spend a few hours on a bike. |

I Like Wildbob's idea....just go for a nice long bike ride or walk by yourself, and since you'll just randomly be thinking about things, maybe you'll come across a great idea. Don't forget to bring a pad of paper and a pencil with you so you won't forget your ideas! Also what you can do is just sit down and write anything that comes to your mind....just keep on writing...even if there are a lot of "ums." You'll think of something eventually. |

I wouldn't worry if I was you. Worring makes things worse...(",)... |

I refuse to let "the block" ruin my day and I "shall" write when I feel like it. I compare writing to photography. Even the professionals miss a good shot now and then. So go ahead.....Write on, Crystal Peak ` |

try listening to music and just free-write, let the music take your mind wherever it will, and write whatever comes to mind. |
