In March one of my best friends Brianna moved... only an hour away, but I hardly get to see her anymore. Well, my mom absolutaly refuses to drive me to her house which is smaller that where we live b/c she isn't familiar w/ the area. And my dad will only take me there to hang out when he's got an insurance appointment in her area. Well, he has one saturday, and is letting me go there, which I should be happy. WEll, then Brianna asks if I want to go there, her mom will pick me up, and stay thurday, and friday, and my dad can still pick me up on saturday. And my mom says no b/c she thinks Brianna's mom is irresponsible and lets her run around town which isn't true b/c I've been to her house when she lived near me one time! And besides that we need to take care of her little sister, and her sisters friend. Plus her mom says no to like half of everything and will only let her go places if she knows where she's going. and I know this b/c last time I was at her house we got to walk by ourselfs to McDonalds but I called my mom to ask if I could, and she said ok. The only thing we did that my mom found out about after wards is this lady from church was outside, and I asked if she'd like to donate money for my thirty hour famine so we went inside and I played with her two kids, why the 3 year old I'm with in sunday school while she got the money, and my mom knows who the litle girl is! So I just don't understand why my mom is doing this! She has no good reasons, that are true, to say I can't spend the night there, and I keep explaining that to her! The only reason I could think of is that Brianna used to cut herself (which I think might make my mom scared I'll cut myself again) and once tried to kill herself b/c her dad abused her inappropriatly till she was five, but her dad doesn't even live anywhere near there! Brianna was in a hospital for two years, and is fully recovered, and I tell my mom that's why Brianna did it, and although it's no way of solving anything, I can understand why Brianna did that. It's just making me so mad! She's not the one drivng me there, or back, and we'll be at Brianna's house the whole time.
