I've always had a thing for road trips, a cross country road trip would be awmazing... Either that, or I could settle for a nice cruise. |

yes 4moons, I love road trips. I have taken a mini one...up through New Mexico and on into Colorado, then came back down through Oklahoma. I would like to do it on a grander scale though. |

I love Flordia in the winter... going to disney land, and the beach. But not that you mention it a roadtrip for a vacation does sound fun! I wouldn't might going one and seeing all my friends that have moved, and seeing all the people from the two mission trips I've been on and am still friends with. |

Definitely the Caribbean- which may not be such a fantasy as my fiance's mother lives in Jamaica so eventually we will be taking a nice trip there. (I'm thinking honeymoon maybe..) Other than that..ANY type of vacation would be sooo sweet right now, but just a fantasy at this point as I still have a month of school, and have to go to clinical orientation for my new LPN job for two days the week following my graduation, report to start training for my LPN job on the 25th of August (I graduate the 20th, and orientation is the 23rd and 24th..ALL DAY both days)and then I begin my Fall classes to start working on my RN on the 28th of August (afternoon classes and will be working nights!!) So, yeah, no vacation for me anytime soon!! |

My fantasy vacation is to take my kids to NY to see a Yankees baseball game. We have been talking about saving our income tax refund next year so we can take the kids. Our family are very big fans of the Yankees, and with us being in Georgia, it would be a somewhat expensive trip. I want the kids to be able to meet some of the players and get autographs. My oldest son who is 11 has aspirations of playing for the Yankees someday. He wants to go to a game and get Matsui to sign a baseball card for him in Japanese charaters as well as English. I know this would make my kids' millineum! LOL |

LOL You got that right Gia...the money will be a fantastic thing- not my main motivation, but a very nice perk nonetheless. I forgot to add that I also have NCLEX review class (the review for the boards) from Aug 31- Sept. 2 all day long as well. Fortunately my work place has agreed to give me those 3 days off with pay (they consider it an educational inservice as they request for us to take our boards within 3 monthes of our start date). The bad thing is the review cuts into my first two days of my Western Civ course- but I'm hoping that I can meet with the professor and explain my situation and get the syllabus and be able to hand in the homework..it will be the same night when I hand it in as AFTER the review classes I still have to go out to the campus for my Chemistry class..but I can get to the campus within 10 minutes after the Western Civ class ends...so yeah- I kinda put myself into a hard spot schedule wise...but professors are usually understanding of things like that...Good luck to you when your classes start..those year long programs are VERY intense, but very worth it. |
