This is a Weight-Conscious smoothie. If you are on a diet and can't stop craving something sweet, this is the smoothie that will stop that craving and it is very good for you.
3/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup diced apple, peeled or unpeeled
1/2 cup apple juice, made into ice cupes and crushed
1/2 frozen banana, sliced
Pinch of ground cardamom, cinnamon or nutmag
Combine the yogurt and apples in a blender. Add all the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups; Serves 2
