Hey! MK. YOU There? I know you have a vivid imagination, and a sincere desire to write. I have taken the liberty of editing the above story for you. Both story lines go the same direction. I believe however the edited version goes a little smoother. I hope my suggestion will help you as you write the rest of your story. Your friend Russ ~~~~~ As Gabby walked down the midway she saw what had been billed as the “Greatest Fun House” in the world, “The Walk of Horror”. She had heard rumors of young couples going into The Walk of Horror and never coming out. She knew in her mind that rumors were just that, rumors. Those rumors, however were enough to frighten Gabby away from the entrance and the carnie who encouraged her to enter. As Gabby backed away from the fun house, she bumped into an elderly man who looked much like a preacher from the old west era. “Feed the poor,” the old man asked? As Gabby extended her hand with her donation, her hand was mysteriously drawn into the gifting pail. Try as she may she could not pull her hand back. Gabby’s eyes met the preachers eyes, he smiled a knowing glee, and Gabby’s hand was released. The old preacher disappeared into the crowd and Gabby followed. |
