LOVE'S CONFUSION............PammieRose

I could ignore, abandon, just stay away,
but memories Haunt me every minute of every day.
I drive along and see a WalMart,
A Pain..A memory..I stutter, I stop..then try to restart.

There`s no escape, too many to count, both little and big,
Heart no defense, assaulted as if by a Russian Mig.
A fleeting ghost...a whispering wind,
always tells me where I have been.

You might have died, leaving no choice, no chance,
But no, you just left, leaving me lost, stunned in a trance.
I love you, you`re life, why can you not see,
You're every single thing that matters to me.

You say love is made of many components, it's true,
Love, trust yes, but also forgiveness accompanies these too.
Look into your heart, go past the dark and find your way,
When it's real and true, love does not just die this way.

It's not just your life that plays in this scene,
You're my love, always and forever to be my dream.
I stand at the window daily, and pray to God above,
Please let him find himself so I might regain his love.

Somedays are harder, when I can't stand myself,
I do not need things, diamonds or wealth.
My only happy days were with you by my side,
The day your love stopped, is the day that I died.

In truly desolate times, I hold pills in my hand,
Steeping, weeeping, how easy it would be..to just leave this land.
Why can't he believe and understand,
It's only by him, I want to stand.

Constantly waiting, endless coping,
Always alone, continue my hoping.
