Fade into the blackness of your memory.
How is it that we've been through so much together,
But now you turn your back on me?

Do you still think of me?
Can you remember my face?
Or am I just
Another person time had erased?

It hurts to remember,
Our past together.
Kids will be kids,
Remember, best friends forever?

I always said,
I'll be there for you.
But I dont think I want to be anymore,
I had lost you.

I had lost the boy I once knew,
To the one now.
Drowned in alcohol and drugs,
(loser) How could you become so stupid? How!

You were better then that,
You always were.
But I guess your common sense died,
Along with our friendship.

I still hate you,
For leaving me alone.
Two years I've spent waiting,
Just waiting for you by the phone.

Hoping you'd call and tell me everything will be ok,
You'll be back for me, everything is fine.
Sometimes I believed you, what else could I do?
I despretly needed you, to fix everything wrong in life.
Like old times.

You were the one I turned to,
You were my best friend.
But people come and people go,
Im just depressed about how fast you went.

So ignore me as I slip away,
Into the blackness of your memory.
And I hope this face that you try to forget,
