The Beginning ---ice

We were only a mile away,
Stranded to meet death alone.
Tears were seen to flood hopes,
Our courage to continue quickly was gone.

I wanted to maintain my bravery,
This last second on this battle ground.
I stood tall and wiped away my cries,
And out from my lips came a thunderous sound.

"All my years of living,
I have never witnessed such.
But I still readied myself for such coming,
I dare not meet death without a bloody touch.

The stars call our names,
Suiting our souls for the heavens way.
Give me your word that on this night,
We will not surrender even if our minds may.

Freedom has long been in seek,
Our dreams in mass dreamt.
The blood which flows within,
Shall be exposed if this next move we don’t attempt.

Believe in the outmost glistening of your eyes,
Don’t surpass what may lie within the unseen.
For a victory for our people must be sought,
With one heart against the brutal beings of our dream.

Those who choose not to carry on,
For the road is open for your mercy.
Bless the village with our sacrificed tears and blood,
Inform them that the rest will not return till the birth of liberty.

And the soldiers that remain,
Understand that your death upon this land was destined.
Hear the callings within the breeze in which grows,
Your name twirls alongside this saddened wind.

The face of freedom I see clearly,
Stare him straight into his cold eyes.
Tell him that you will not surrender to no more suffering,
That within his heart is where your true life lies.

Now armor yourselves from their swords,
Guard your hearts from their screams.
Hear my calls that I shout towards the stars,
Feel the realizations of our once deprived dreams.

It’s the devil I so hunger to feast upon,
My teeth daggering into his ego is what I seek.
Join me on this prophesied journey,
Our burial set upon this future legendary creek.

Wipe away your life’s frustrations,
The ray of light shall soon shine down.
My brothers, grant me with a pride that gleams,
One which will blind our foes from a damaging crown.

Now set your foot towards this cursed ground,
Free your hearts to do what it seeks.
Freedom is what my veins scream,
Victory from the heavens upon us leaks.

Spread your wings so that they may be seen,
March head on with our enemies.
The future lays within our palms,
And the past is all but veiled away memories.

My Lord this next act I ask you to observe,
Alongside our wills help guide the truths to be seen."
Amen, And with such words roaring to be heard,
I realized that before all’s ears, I had spoken the dream.

The swords were drawn with cheers,
Not one man stood cowardly behind.
They disappeared into the death filled field,
Fulfilling what had been displayed within my mind.

Freedom I have screamed,
Our flag waved around teasingly.
Justice strived to be captured,
The torments felt unwillingly.
