Churches do look scary at night, and there really scary if you go in them. I did it once, and there was a candle lit, and I didn't see it, and when I did I freaked out and ran outside   |

I don't see why not. Evil is as strong a presence as God is, unfortunately. I see no reason why an evil spirit couldn't be in a church. But it could be that you were just freaked out because you were in an unusual place in the middle of the night too.  |
