I don’t think you understand me anymore.
It seems as if everything I ever stood for,
Has suddenly become foolish and incorrect.
You used to show my feelings the greatest respect,
You helped me through my darkest hour.
Now when you speak your words are sour.
I know people change in different ways,
But in more than just a couple days.
These haven’t been your greatest times,
But you used to solve them with your rhymes.
Once you’d talk to me when you had trouble,
But now you’d rather stare at the rubble,
And not even try to think your problems through.
You speak like there’s nothing anyone can do.
Well you were the one who told me differently,
Last night you said things almost angrily.
And now for some reason unapparent to me,
Have changed your entire outlook and philosophy.
