Hey guys..

I was just sitting here thinking..I have asked for advice here at USM several times, and have received some great advice from USMers..When I make a post there are several that I hope will reply because I respect their opinions and know that they would give me sound advice.

What I am asking is..WHO do you like to receive advice from here at USM?? Who do you like to have reply to your posts?

LadyLuck

PS: Ok, I am going to name some names here..LOL..When I put up a post asking for advice I like to see people like Gail, Souldrifter, Base, Linda, Katsho, Sur5r, Dreamerpoet, Firstborn, BCAR, King Caspian..ones like that come in and offer advice..they have LIVED and can give me very sound advice..To some this may seem a bit cold, but you know..Not everyone can offer perfect advice in certain situations..I respect these people and their thoughts on things..There are more as well, but I cant think of them right off the top of my head..LOL

Date: 7/14/2004 4:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 14503    i think everyone gives good advice.. different people have their own way of putting things so you can better understand... some have other ways of making you feel better... its just who you talk to and what about also that helps the situation... ~~hugznluv~~
Date: 7/14/2004 4:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 61977    Ummm I like to see the samee taggies around and float throughout USM. Any advice or replies to my posts I cherish and hold dearly. I cannot say that I prefer one over the other. HUGS & BLESSINGS,

Date: 7/14/2004 4:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 36704    what, you think it's weird 12 year olds tell 40 year olds how to run their life?
Date: 7/14/2004 4:35:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 33925    Yes Morphix, everyone does, but there are some that give GREAT advice..seriously..I have gotten advice before that was just plain ridiculous.
Date: 7/14/2004 4:36:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 33925    MotherLove..I dont necessarily hold ones opinion higher than another..I just think there are some that have lived enough to give me sound advice on certain topics..ya know?
Date: 7/14/2004 4:36:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 33925    LOL..Base..truthfully? Yes I do..I have a hard time when a child tells me how to handle certain situations..especially when they have NO idea what I mean and NO life experience on the matter.
Date: 7/14/2004 4:44:00 PM  ( Admin-FA )   Base is the only one that pops in my head at this moment with his wisdom.. heh..
Date: 7/14/2004 4:45:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 33925    He is a pretty smart guy isnt he FA? LOL
Date: 7/14/2004 4:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 11341    I guess it depends on what kind of advice I am asking for. *thinks if Ive given LL advice or if I should again* :P
Date: 7/14/2004 4:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 61977    Ohhh I feel you Lady Luck totally. Someone who can give me advice when they have weathered a similiar storm is always more helpful and to me it goes without saying you know?
Date: 7/14/2004 4:48:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 33925    It does depend DMK, your right..LOL...and YES you have given me advice and GOOD advice at that, because you have lived a little bit of life and have some experience!!
Date: 7/14/2004 4:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 9509    Yeah, Gail, Linda and Katsho are good advice givers, definately. And you too cause you all know what you're talking about.
Date: 7/14/2004 4:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 36704    I like to see comments from the ones you listed I also like to read Brenda and Az and your comments.
Date: 7/14/2004 4:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 9509    I like to give advice to the young one and the teenagers cause I've been through all that stuff.
Date: 7/14/2004 4:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 9509    i meant to say young *ones* not young one. LOL
Date: 7/14/2004 5:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 45630    I feel that as far as advice goes I tell it like it is. While I may only be 25 years old I have gone through alot, cheating girlfriend check, miscarriage check, mugging check, bashings check, death threats check, health scares check. I don't hold back on my advice for the simple reason that I feel that half of the reason people ask advice is because they are panicking and they despereatly need help. I let them know straight away what I think. THe other half of people who ask for advice normally already know the answer so I again say it as it is, if it confirms their worst fears I am deeply sorry, but if it opens up a new answer then I always hope that I have helped.
Date: 7/14/2004 5:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 7819    I guess it all depends on the advice im asking for. But ive always enjoyed seeing you, LL, Gail, base, king caspian, Ali and a few others give informative and thought provoking comments.
Date: 7/14/2004 5:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 11341    It also matters if I want the actually make me think about what "I" am doing wrong advice or the agree with me advice LOL
Date: 7/14/2004 5:14:00 PM  From Authorid: 44321    I normally try to give the best advice I can,I might not always be what they need but I try I have personally been given advice on a few things by great folks that knew what they were talking about.
Date: 7/14/2004 5:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 3688    there's far too many to name for me, so in fear of leaving someone out i'll just say "you know who you are, and you know i'm grateful"
Date: 7/14/2004 5:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 42568    The only person I can think of is Brenda. Her and I are very much alike, despite the age gap. Although I never ask for advice from anyone on here, I know if I were to go to her for help, I could trust her enough to tell me exactly what I needed to hear.
Date: 7/14/2004 6:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    Dreamer is good to pick on for advice now and then Same with YOU...and....Gail...and so many others..
Date: 7/14/2004 6:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 31255    There are a lot of people that have LIVED regardless of age. I think there are young people here who are just old souls and whether or not they have personally been through the situation they seem to be able to give good advice like they have lived it personally. I think many people are taken for granted when giving advice, therefore I think all advice is good... because it leaves you with options and ideas....I look forward to getting advice from anyone who is willing to take the time and energy to care enough to leave advice.
Date: 7/14/2004 6:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 16671    I"m with you on some of these people.I don't ask for advice often but when I do, I also like to see people like Gail, Souldrifter, sur5r, dreampoet, bcar, King Caspin, StarTwo, privatelady, even the beckster even tho she is young she thinks about stuff. shadowghost gives great advice and has a way of knowing what I need and she wont sugar coat something and of course *you,* rusure and deb. In posts I do like to see base, bcar, King, deb, rusure, you choose, jesus freak as well as papa bryant and others, and of course to mix things up really good, if thinker, LSG or koolade didnt come in, well the post I'm sure would be boring. Mix or match, there are some fine usm'ers here to not only talk personal thing to, but to talk or debate in posts with.
Date: 7/14/2004 6:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 19460    I look forward to hearing from you, Gail, Zema, Linda... like you, people who have been there and done it before.
Date: 7/14/2004 6:53:00 PM  From Authorid: 25756    I've had Wildbob give me some great advice in the past.
Date: 7/14/2004 7:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 62779    I think whoever wants to take the time to hand out their advice in the first place is just awesome. I've been ehre about a month? I think this place is awesome ~Angel Wolfe~
Date: 7/14/2004 7:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 20750    I so agree with Toodles statement! I have seen amazing advice come from Bethann & Emi & Paranormal Blizzard & even little Jung! I have seen great advice from Base & Beckydew. I think all advice is a great way to see things more clearly. Any advice given from the heart is most comforting to me.
Date: 7/14/2004 7:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 1631    If you can walk the walk, then feel free to talk the talk with me. I'm going to restrict myself to one person, but BCAR is always on the top of my list for advice because he is level-headed and more than likely has been there before...
Date: 7/14/2004 9:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 12341    I agree with Toodles, each of us, regardless of age contibute to life and make an impression. An individual who writes something that makes a difference to me, at this point in my life, can be of any any age, but has a human emotional impact on the reader. Different strokes for... and all that. But some of don't name names, simply don't care who is who as much as we look for not only opinions or advice, but for a much more common denominator. Not all are looking for advice or unrequited love, some are just simply drawn to USM because of certain people or the sheer diversity, of all ages.
Date: 7/14/2004 11:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 49091    I like advise from anyone. Its too hard to pick just one person. Cause there are soooooooooo many ppl here that have helped me thorough sooooo much "stuff" that I've been thorough, and am still dealing with. There's too many to name!! LOL *huggs*>>
