Land of Tears-Gothic Angel

There is such a land, that no one really knows
It's hidden, and it's secret, and it won't expose
What it has, and what it does, to every soul
That has gone there when they've lost all control

It tears them apart, as they weep their self pity
Wishing this utopia for some gave away happiness for free
But happiness is expensive, but pain is priceless
Still trying to figure out how to get out of this mess

Though it feels so good, to not understand
That death and scars all come from this forsaken land
It is the land that begun everyone's worst fears
As it has been named, the land of tears

So unexposed to everyone, except those wanting to die
As they think about they're tears, of every little lie
What's one more cut, going to do?
In the land of tears, dying is the only thing true

Cut off from reality, in this nightmare of dreams
No one can ever hear all the pitiful screams
The image stays clear in mind, after so many years
Of the time that I visited the land of tears

Black it was, and it was also shades of grey
There was not tomorrow, there was no yesterday
Only the pain you felt before still was within you
As everything they told you, was anything but true

Tired souls were still crying, wanting to escape
As others kept on breaking hearts that they tried to tape
Some were smiling freely, as they were in paradise
And others crying because happiness whas concise

I truely was afraid, as I heard them all cry
To go back and live my life, or I would for sure die
To turn back and realize that there isn't just pain
That it always helps to fall, and pick yourself back up again

And so I turned around, as I heard their cries
Travelling back to reality, I realized they were angels in disguise
And though sometimes the pain hurts, and sometimes it sears
Life is so much better than the secret land of tears

"Is their such a secret place called the land of tears?"
