Have you tried to get a restaining order against him from the police in your area? Or ask your local Court House about it.. if he violates that restraining order, he can go to jail if he is caught breaking it. I am not certain if each individual has to have one for themselves, or if it can have numerous names on the order. That is something you will have to check into. There has to be some kind of protection available for you before anything serious happens to anyone. Good luck. |

I was told that because he has not come into physical contact with me I cannot file for an order.. I'm going to take a ride to the local police department and file another complaint against him if I can.. it seems like there is no protection which is very frustrating for me. |

That is really sad that our world has come to the point where someone has to get hurt in order to keep someone at a distance.. I can recall when there were laws to protect and serve before harm came in one's way.. am I that old, or has society grown that cold?? |

You know what I realized I was on my own when he called and threatened me and the police officer who was a female came to my house and when I explained to her the situation she looked me straight in the eye and said "and what do you want me to do about it" I came to realize that law enforcement is definately not on my side.. or isn't on my side until he kills me or hurts me.. its really sad.. |

Has there been any progress with the Immagration Department? Is he supposed to be deported back to where he is originally from since the marriage did not work? You would think that since the papers are now null and void, they would take him back.. That could be his motive for being as he is.. perhaps he is fearful he will be deported, and does not want to return to his country, and you "need" to suffer until he leaves.. I can completely understand what you must be going through.. |
