A sense from the heart (part 3)~Silversnake~

Rhina met up with Mike early the next morning to head to the fair. She was so excited she could hardly think. She wanted to see him so bad. She took her brown hair and put it back in a pony tail, put on a pair of jeans and a tshirt then ran out.

Mike picked her up at 8ish, however first they would have breakfast. They enjoyed a peaceful meal with his family of pancakes, french toast, and eggs. She took the time to get to know his family better and got to see Mike being the true gentleman he tried to hide sometimes.

Finally when all the food was done Mike pulled out Rhina's chair so that they could leave. An exciting day was a head for them, and Rhina couldn't wait. They took a long drive down, where they listened to some crazy rock and roll music and laughed all along.

When they reached the fair a vender was near the entrance selling roses.

"Stay right here," Mike said with a silly smirk.

He returned a moment later with a red rose. Rhina blushed, then laughed.

"You didn't have to do that," she said smiling.

"Nah, I wanted to," he said. "Plus what would a beautiful rose be without a beautiful girl to hold it?"

Rhina laughed and walked up ahead to look around. The place was amazing so much to do and so much fun to be had.

As they walked Mike slip his arm around her shoulder.

"Is it ok if I put my arm around you?" he asked shyly as they walked through the fair.

"Yeah, it's fine," Rhina smiled pointing to a vender near by. "Mind if we check that out?"

"No, not at all," he said smiling back.

The two of them looked around for hours. A little later he would ask to hold her hand. It was the cutest thing she had ever saw, and sweetest. She had never seen this side of him. All she had ever seen was the silly, funny, heavy metal boy he always tried to show.

They played games, watched different events, and then talked for hours on end. Finally a time came for a choice. Rhina was leaning against a tree laughing at one of Mike's crazy jokes when he asked her something she didn't expect.

"What would you do if I kissed you right now?" he asked looking into her eyes.

"Probably kiss you back," she said shrugging.

And in that moment they kissed again, with the same amount of intensity as the first kiss they had shared. Both had waited for the moment all day. A friend of Rhina's walked by at that very moment.

"Hey Rhina," Anne said to her with a laugh. "New boyfriend?"

Rhina shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't sure yet, especially since she was heading back to school tomorrow for the semester. Things would get difficult probably and she didn't know how to handle that thought. Plus how would Kate react if they started to go out?

Mike looked at Anne then at Rhina. Then gently touching taking her hand in his own he walked down the dirt path of the fair.

"So what is this we have going here?" he asked in curiosity. "Are we friends with benefits or do you want more like i do?"

She knew the answer to that one, but wasn't sure how to say it.

"I go back to school tomorrow," she said approply.

"Oooo ok," Mike responded in disappointment.

"But I want to be more then friends," she said out of nowhere, shocking herself to let that slip.

"So do I Rhina," a smirk finally came back to Mike's face.

Maybe this was right. She had never felt this good before, and she had just gotten out of a relationship a couple weeks ago. Maybe this would be good for her? Only time would tell.
