A long forgotten touch,
washes over my skin.
A foreign feeling,
warms my heart from within.
As I look into her eyes,
years of pain washed away.
This is all that's been on my mind,
every single day.
A smile crosses our lips,
as they part after a kiss.
All I can think,
Is how much i'm going to miss.
For after I wake up,
This will all go away.
And the pain will continue,
yet another day.
