I started writing a love poem to you
I tried to make it rhyme
Quite nonsensical, really
The essence of you can not be placed within words
Attempting to do so is futile
However; something must be said of the feelings I possess
Tranquility falls upon me when you are amidst my thoughts
Each and every time I take few minutes to reminisce
A single tear falls from my eye
The wrong place, the wrong time
Yet, I can’t let go
I don’t think I ever will
You are the only one for me
