you have to test it out on your skin. like, do a very small portion as out of the way as you can get it and give it a day or two to let it react. but i have the same problem. i had this phobea of happy trails and thought i had one. so i shaved it, or what i thought it was, and now i cant stop cuz it's sickening to me. lol; peace n luv

Just to let you know, I've tried waxing almost every area of my body, and waxing feels the same as plucking, but its like 50 tweezers all plucking at once, not the most pleasent sensation. |

I like GiGi's hemp based... you can warm it up in the microwave. It doesn't irritate my skin like some others that I've used. You can get it at Sally's (p.s. a "happy trail" is the little line of hair that sometimes grows downwards from your belly button) |

and waxing is only painful the first couple times... after that the hair starts to grow back more fine and it's not so bad. You get used to it. |

I agree....once you get use to it waxing really isn't bad at all. I've tried everything on my eyebrows and finally gave up for a long time and just naired it....then went back to plucking...and about two months ago went back to waxing...Mom did it the first time for me and wooooozah! that hurt!....since then i've done it half a dozen times (Because of plucking it grows in waves) and now it really doesn't hurt bad at all.... |

I get my eye brows done and thats enough for me. The only part I dont like is the bottom, by my eye, thats WOWZAAAAAAA LOL I think I rather do waxing then plucking. Cause thats one pain at a time, I rather have 50 at one time then one LOL I know, what a freak! LOL Thanx everyone |

I bought some wax called Brazilian Surgi-Wax. Its intended for "personal" waxing, but they make other kinds than the Brazilian kind. You heat it in the microwave and when it cools, spread it on, wait 15 seconds and snatch it off. Its about like pulling a bandaid and there are none of those nasty strips to use. Plus its really cheap... I paid about 4 dollars for mine. |
