Well there's cartiledge there. They pierce it on an angle on the outer edge of it, to try and get the thinnest cartiledge... I was gonna say that it would hurt just as much as the septum, but I can see by your extensive description that you haven't got it done. Well if it's done correctly, like by an accredited piercer, it should only feel like a whole lot of heat going through one spot. I hope that's helpful...  |

I went with my cuz to get hers done and she said it hurt for a bit like when he stuck the needle in but once it was through all the way it was no big and the prick of pain was gone. I really think it depends on your pain tolerance which it sounds like you have a pretty high one to have pierced yourself so many times. Good luck with it! Love and Hugs,  |

I have both my tragus pierced. I also have my lip, belly button, and 13 ear piercings(in each ear), I got my tragus done almost 2 years ago, it wasn't my most painful piercing, but I can tell you it hurt a heck of alot more then my lip did!  |
