So many times you've fallen, and I've always been there
To pick you up, and walk with you, showing you that I care

I've helped you through so much, and yet you see right through
That I can't help it, I need you, I've fallen in love with you
Wishing on a star, that you'll feel the same way
But that won't happen ever, not tomorrow, not today

I'd starve my soul, my body, my heart, just to feel you beside me
And I'd give away my stars, my moon, just to be the only one you see
Take my life and wear it thin, I only need your love forever
As I sit on my bed in the darkness, dreaming of us together
