Could it be nerves because you're having to ride the train? as far as the itching, oatmeal or baking soda bath |

My daughter gets hives from the weather. Yes, she is allergic to cold, and then coming back into a warm place, she breaks out in massive hives that get in her throat and feels like it is taking her air away, and near her eyes and make them all swollen. She is on the prescription Latadene. It works for her very well, but is expensive if you do not have insurance. Benedryl did nothing for her either.. |

i've had this too. i get hives every once in awhile, but for about a week, i broke out in hives as soon as i woke up every morning. nothing was different. paste toothpaste works for mosquito and flea bites, might as well try it for hives. also, walmart sells something for hives now, but it is pretty costly at $10.00. i can tell you this, calamine lotion doesn't work lol. |

I think you will further instigate them if you keep switching from one remedy to the other. If you put on a lotion or something that makes it worse, take a washcloth and dip it milk. The milk will draw what you put on out of your skin. |
