IT seems so cruel
once living a life in darkness
a person comes around
show's you there's a light
Lifts you half way out of your pit
to laugh in your face
let go of your hand
and watch you fall back down
Some people take joy
in sick twisted things
speaking with forked tongues
and hiding behind false smiles
living like this for years
Tends to poison a soul
causes your compassion to mourn
because it falls on Lifeless souls
Compassion haunts you in your darkness
when you have so much to give
no one wants it for what it's truely worth
and turns it into something sick and twisted
a tool to use against you at will
when it's all you have left of you
