On Monday, me and my friend are leaving for California. We're staying there for three nights. We're going to be in Anaheim, for Disney Land, and the beach, and we may go and try to find some shopping too. We're driving there, from here in Phoenix to there. We are So excited!! Anyway, I'm making a mix CD for when we get there..Songs that mention LA, or california...Maybe even songs about the beach.
I have a Yellowcard song "Rock Star Land" about going to california...I have "hotel california" by the eagles. "California Girls" by the beach boys. "why'd you want to live here" by death cab for cutie is a song about LA. I even have a Hilary Duff song because it mentions "the traffic of LA"..Oh and of course I have California Dreaming. hehe.
So I don't have much right now, but I am curious to see if any one knows any songs about California or LA or anything that would be good for this roadtrip mix CD? When we get there we are going to play "You're still the one" by Shania Twain because in the beginning it goes "Looks like we made it, look how far we've come my baby..We might have took the long way..." ect ect And it fits in our opinion, we're just going to put it in our situation..traveling.. so thats on there too. Any other suggestions? Thanks I appreciate it!
