I don't think it sucks . I've read a little of your poetry i.e: "Taken The Blade Away From Me", "Seeking Freedom" but I've come to learn with poetry...seems like everyone is their own worse critic. And you never know...you could someday be published. Ever try entering one of those contests at http://www.poetry.com ? They publish you in their annual/semi-annual books even if you don't win, but from what I've seen here, there are a lot of people I'm sure could win the contests. Keep writing! Take care. -Damon |

Damon thanks for the tip. I've tried the Poetry.com thing, and they do publish the stuff, but I want my own book, with just my work in it, so i could hold it in my arms. thanks for reading my work, and commenting here. it does help to know there are people out there wanting to see it published, thanks again |

If you've got enough material to make your own book of poetry, I'm pretty sure it can be published. Find a list of publishers and send your work off, or now there's even some kind of way I've seen where you can even publish it yourself. Give it a shot. Never hurt for anyone to make the big time  . True Damon, but self-publishing costs a lot. a person that was gonna help me get published, wanted me to pay them 3400.00 for a 96 page book, thats a lot, and something i dont have, yeah i have well over 1000 poems i could use. most are on here, but there are a few i wont publish on here. |

Everyone views everything different. Its like with my songs.. Not everyone likes them , some people like them and some people love them... but also knowing that some people love them, I know there is a balance and someone is prob saying that song of his is the most horrible song i have ever heard... I actually hate that writer that song is so bad. I just said that to let you know that your writing will always be fantastic to some people. With my songs I just like to hear about 1 person adoring the lyrics and the melody. Then after that or even before that any number of people hating my song doesnt matter, because it meant something to someone. So your poems are good. There are prob people you dont even know about that read them and actually felt something about life. Maybe you even gave thema change. Its art. Im just proud to be among the artists just like you.
