The Saudis have bee training here for years. They had their own facilities at Little Creek Amphibous Base, when they were preparing to take over a bunch of our older Patrol Boats. They have been training at teh Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base for as long as I can remember, and some of their people who have trained have incuded Saudi royalty. In fact, a local police officer who was handling security for one of their princes while he was studying here is now overseas handling security for members of the ruling family. The Saudis are our allies, until they prove otherwise.  |

Ok I was just wondering. Are we even suspisious at least a little? I personally had no idea that they have been training here. And that is really interesting about the royal families!! Thanks for repling! -Sunni818  |

We've been training them for a long time. I use to see them a lot when I lived at Ft. Knox...The way I see it, the Saudi government has been trying to play both sides of the fence...They allow the radical elements of Islam to flourish, encourage their hatred of the united states in hopes of deflecting it away from themselves all the while being our loyal "friend". Unfortantly for them it is coming back to bite them in the rear-end.  |

Sunni, you would be surprised how many American troops are members of radical organizations. A lot of militia people are former military, so yes, we do train future radicals, even ones here. |

I understand your distrust....its just like all the business we did with Japan in selling scrap metal came back to us in WWII in the bodies of American soldiers....only time will tell as to who is friend and who is foe. The world is not perfect and it is dynamic....things change...sometimes with fierce timing.  |
