We walk our dogs, but they usually go on our own lawn, and we clean it up. We mainly walk them for the exercise  And the only time they go on other people's yards is when they winkie tinkie... that would be hard to clean up if tried.. lol *hugs*  |

It's not a law here, but it is common courtesy.. If our dogs were to ever poo in another's yard, I would go back and clean it up after the walk.. I wouldn't want other people's pups to leave me suprises in my yard.. ewwie.. But there isnt many people in my area that walks doggies... So if they have them I dont know where they go but they dont go on our lawn.. LOL |

yeah it was like a month ago...dog must have scared them off cause they didn't get it on fire too well....I probably disappointed them when I came out with a jug of water rather than stepping on it....some nice fun words were announced as well LOL |

I walk George and Buddy as much as I can. George will not use the bathroom at all, because he waits to do it in the house-the little big eared Basset snot. Now Buddy is a different story, that dog will have to stop at every mailbox and let everybody know he is there. I've since like about sometimes last year letting him do that, but he still attempts. Some neighbor of mine must let their dog do something in this grumpy man's yard because everytime he sees me with either one of the dogs he will go, DON'T YOU LET YOUR DOG GO TO THE BATHROOM IN MY YARD!!! Sometimes he doesn't even say anything and I will walk a little and I'll look behind me to see the guy outside and checking. I think I'll write a note one day and put it in his favorite looking spot and have it read, Ha Ha made you look  |

OMG I totally know what you mean. I don't allow my dog to do THAT in other peoples' yards, but my neighbor has no problems turning his dogs lose into our yard to do their business. Then, he'll call them home to play in their own yard when they're done. Belive me, I've been temped to take my dogs and do the same in their yard.  |

we have really strict rules in australia about dogs pooping in public places. basically if your dog does a poo, you have to pick it up and put it in a bin. there are lots of little plastic bag dispencers around so people really dont have an excuse. if you are caught not picking up your dogs mess, then there is a pretty hefty fine  |

I don't walk my dogs...they're Yorkies and they get plenty of excercise during the day. I've had people let their dogs poop in my yard and then just walk off...but then I've got one lady that carries baggies with her and cleans up her dog's mess. Nice lady!! kimberley  |

Mine don't usually leave my yard but once in a while my chihuahua will go visit the neighbor's yard and do her business over there, I ALWAYS go over and clean up after her. Another one of my neighbors though will let her dog go in my yard and just leave it. Makes me mad because I spend enough time out there cleaning up after my own dogs...  |

I don't have a dog anymore. But it infuriates me when people let their dogs poop in our yard. Not only is it gross to step in, but it is not healthy for other dogs. Dogs can get many parasites from other dogs feces.  |
