Seeing his face
I found perfection
soon after I knew his loving affection,
He took me on the ride of my dreams
things were soon not all as they seemed,
With his arm around me
I could rest on his shoulder
In one word he stole my heart
and became its' new holder.
I saw behind him a ray of light,
his beautiful face was such a delight.
Yet now I watch him walk slowly away,
he looked back at me as though he wanted to stay
I wish one day that we could both slow dance,
