No matter who you give advice to, one of them is going to be angry with you, so the best thing is to back out. Completely. If Megan or Emma want to ask your advice again just say something like, "I'm sorry, but I like you both too much to come between you. You're going to have to work this out on your own. I don't want to know any more about this because I don't want it to jeopradize our friendship." If they really are friends, then they should respect your decision.  |

Megan doesn't know what's going on. She keeps asking me for advice on her feelings for Pete. Emma doesn't want Megan to know that her and Pete might start going out very soon. Emma wants to go out with Pete and she believes that she is in love with Pete. Emma also thinks she is in love with Pete.  |

Tell Megan to back off for a while and see if anything happens. Tell her that maybe Pete still has feelings for Emma and that she shouldn't push him she should let him work it out on his own first. If she still likes Pete in 6 mos maybe she can feel him out on the issue. but for now, she should just chill and see what happens. Tell her it isn't worth getting involved with someone when they are still in love with someone else.  |
