I HAVE BEEN ASKED BY A LOCAL NEWS STATION TO INVESTIGATE..UPDATED........KiKi

Remember the post I submitted on the Brutality I witnessed at a local flea market against all those innocent animals for sale?...I emailed Peta and a Local news team who investigates.

Peta hasn`t returned my call or email...But this station here in town contacted me today on the phone...The Newswoman was very conserned about that situation! She asked me if I could film it for her...so when she sent her team out there. It would be captured again!

OMGosh this goes to show you...if JUST ONE person gets involved...You can Help alot!

HERE IS THE EMAIL I SENT...

I love going to the local Flea-Market. But I don`t think I will be going to that certain one for a while. Namely...(xxxxxxxx)....What I saw there not only disgusted me...but also made me so upset I had to leave immediately after I saw all these animals suffering so much!...Laying in their own feces and panting for water and shade!

There is a certain part of the Flea-Market that is now used for selling baby animals!...Tiny chihuahuas in tiny cages!...Not only chihuahuas...but every type of domestic animal!..Dogs...Cats...Rats...Lizards..Hampsters..Birds...Monkeys.. Ducks...Chickens!.. .all in the heat of the day kept in small spaces/cages!...Why I even saw a baby Exotic Leopard for sale there!

Right now in San Antonio the weather is very Humid...Because of the recent flooding. Those poor creatures are suffering I just know it!... I think this should be investigated...because of the Inhumane treatment of these innocent animals! I think it should be illegal to sell animals like this. And I hope you can follow up on this to stop this horrible treatment of innocent animals! Thank you in advance

Rosenda Rios...the newsachorwoman called me again today!...She said that she would get an undercover team out there asap!...So that means they mean to get the ball rolling to help!...She said unfortunatly it is a long process from there to get ahold of the owners of the Flea Market in question. Wish them luck in this...I have been asked to go there again and still film on the part of the witness of the horrors.

KiKi

I get so tired of ppl saying, "but that's just one person it won't make a difference", or "I'm just one person, I can't do anything" Yes! ONE person can make ALL the difference! Keep us posted on what happens. HUG-A-NURSE,

Date: 6/14/2004 5:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 50434    I am an animal lover and I am "Pet Parent". If I were you I would definatley work with the local news to help stop these people from treating these animal so cruely. People just dont understand that these animals feel the same as we do and have all the same emotions. Have you tried to contact your local ASPCA? I was visting my mom once and the neighbor dogs was outside in the heat with NO water and i witnessed the dog out there for 2 hours, so I went and brought the dog a pail of water and he ran to it and began to drink. I think these offenders of abuse to animals should be subjected to the treatment they give for at least one week and maybe these people will start to think. I know if most cases of abuse people can get anywhere from 1 year in jail or a fine up to 1,000 per animal involded in the offence. Im sorry but thats not good enough! Good luck if you decide to help the local news and PLEASE keep us updated. Thanks you for caring!

Date: 6/14/2004 7:58:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 15157    HEY! I will be on Ksat 12 when I get to be interviewed!...that is here in Sa and I will make an announcement before the broadcast!
Date: 6/14/2004 9:16:00 PM  From Authorid: 9713    Good! I truly hope those animals will be rescued from such an inhumane place. I would follow up on it and see what they do with all of them though, people have a thing for putting down healthy animals..
Date: 6/14/2004 9:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 62181    yay! what I hate is seeing like 5 or more kittens in a small cage all sharing the same litter box, and they all have that feline virus, cause their eyes are watering and goopy. :,( and seeing rabbits in small cages breaks my heart. Rabbits are as smart as cats. they don't deserve to be kept in a cage. They can be litter box trained and you can train them not to chew on furniture.
YOU GO GIRL! Thanks from the bottom of my heart for writing that email. I hope your investigation can make a difference and these poor little animals will be treated better. Let us know how it goes!
Peace

Date: 6/15/2004 12:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 3835    Forgive me, I have to ask, did you sign that letter to Peta as Kiki like you did here in your post (-: I am very grateful that ther are people like you out there and fight for the animals as much as I would do. I cannot stand ANY kind of animal abuse, and that goes for animal testing. Good for you, Kiki.. and thank you, on behalf of all those animals who's lives you may save because of speaking out for them. I bet if you quiet yourself, you will feel the love from them energistically. I bet I am too far away, geographically to watch this news program )-:
