The Hunger-Gothic Angel

The hunger settles in, I feel it growing inside
I must feed again soon, and kill, I must confide
And find the wonderful food, that makes me stay alive
Nourishment, peace, I need it to survive

Searching through this town, full of tired souls
I laugh at them....They wonder why they lost control
Cheating and lying, and the newest crime, love
When everyone that tries it, battles the above

Picking apart the crowd, finding the right one
So I can feed this angry hunger, let it be done
Narrowing out the primary victim, the perfect one to be
Food that I will savour, without sympathy

"I've known you for awhile, and I've held you close
And it's going to be hard, because I'll miss you the most
But I can't stand this anymore, I hate this cherade
The time has come, and come again, and now it will fade

"Your pathetic problems, your undissolving tears
I'm sick of having to chase away your idiotic fears
And I'm not looking at, what you've done for me
Because that was just a gain, of what will never be

"You're not a friend to me, and you never will
I'm done with you, I don't need you now, I've had my fill
Go on and cry, see if I care, you think they'll make me forget?
No, I'm not backing down, I don't feel regret"

And as I walk away, from my victim on the ground
The tears and wails I hear, puncture the silent sound
Of their heart breaking apart, to a million pieces
As my hunger fades away, it's intensity decreases

Finally revealing, how I really feel inside
I killed someone emotionally, and drank what they had to hide
The one I need the most, is now hating me
Through their red burned eyes, I know that they see

A person full of hatred, as I ate their happiness away
I'll be surprised if they see another day
It's hard to say why I don't stop, but it never leaves me alone
The hunger lives within me, I am the hunger's home
