Your Life, It Could Be Better - Eddy

The world is spinning...
That's a good thing at least.

A microscope zoomed in at the earth,
Focused on a high street.
Your high street.
A pigeon died here.

A river flowing,
Home of fish and fish food.
Polluted; chemicals and dirt.
Your dirt.
From your street.
Where you live.

The way we live,
The lives we ruin.
Its ok...
A beaming ray of sunlight,
Brightening up your day.

It makes you think,
Everything's not too bad,
For me at least.

I have all I could need.
A house, food, electricity and all.
Even a partner, and the love she brings.

What more could I want.
I think I have it all.

A breezy day,
Clouds smother the beam of sunlight...
I realise,
Once again,
That this life,
Is only what you make it.

The lives of others,
They could all be better,
I could help them,
One at a time.

Help a friend,
They'll help you.
The world could be better,
Even for me,
Who has enough.
Until the world is perfect,

Ignorance
Of you
Will be my bliss
