On that day the plan was set,
I can forgive, but not forget.
Needing them more than ever that day,
They closed their hearts and turned away.
So prim , so proper, in their pristine world,
leaving me dizzy and life in a whirl.
Sitting in the drak, but not in a dream,
unprepared for their vicious scheme.
Never perfect from the start,
each turned away and crushed my heart.
Death was possible, a simle reality,
they didn't care, they tore their love away from me.
They clawed my flesh and left me bare and ill-prepared,
with a phone click they no longer cared.
You'd think murder had been the crime,
"Away from us", they all chimed.
Love is lost and gone astray,
They closed their hearts and turned away.
