I've never been hurt at work, but I got into a small car accident a month ago, I'd suggest seeing a Chiropracter if you're having pains like that, all a DR will do is give you muscle relaxers and tell you to come back in a week(which is what they did to my boyfriend, who was also there) but my mother and I went to a Chiro, it takes longer, but its so much better, he adjusts my back and neck, it feels so much better since the accident, also with the DR, since its shorter, you can have the pain come back 6 months later on, and you have to pay for it then, but with the Chiro, he slowly does it, and tests out your body to see if its going to come back a few months from now. |

DO NOT GO TO A CHIROPRACTOR. My dad had pains in about the same area, he went to one, and he's permanately disabled because of the guy. Do whatever else you have to (and can manage to), but DON'T go, please. |

I work at a hosptial cafeteria at night after school, and I was putting some silverware away, when a large pot that was above me fell down and hit me on the head. My supervisor freaked out and sent me upstairs to the ER, even though I knew I was fine, and I sat up there for a hour for them to tell me that I had a bump on my head. And another time I was standing on a stool, and the floor was a little wet so when i went to reach for something the stool slipped and I fell off and landed flat on my back. It was kind of funny lol. |

When I fell, I told my manager and she told me to wait a couple hours to see how I was doing cause I told her I was okay, only that it hurted more than usual. Then I had my dad pick me up to take me to the doctor. |

I've never heard of anyone being permamently disqabled from a chiro, maybe from the accident, but not the Chiro. Most Dr's do recoment a Chiro anyway, they do amazing things, and its natural, they don't load you up on meds, which my Dr LOVES doing, went in for an asthama check up, in 10 mintues I went from one inhaler(which I rarely even use, my asthama is not bad at all) to my reg inhaler, another I have to use twice daily, steroids and this needle thingie which I think I would much rather die than use LoL (I hate needles) |

I did! I was working for this contracting company, putting together a Lowe's store. I was way up on top of this shelf, laying the wooden slats for the shelving. My safty line that hooked to my safty belt was only about a foot long. So I had to unhook it to climb down (which was about 18 ft up maybe?) and I slipped and fell. My rin caught one of the shelves on the way down. I ended up breaking 2 ribs! |
