*sigh* You can't please everyone, especially with so many people in the United States. But all I can say is - I'm not old enough to vote but I will support George Bush and it is his job to change our country with every decision he makes. And, he has never acted alone. There were always supporters behind what he did, therefore he cannot solely be blamed for everything that he has done that is supposedly bad for the United States. But at 15, my voice is silent in this debate. - |

That "miserable failure" thing on Google is a trick. It's called "Googlebombing." A person finds an uncommon phrase, gets a bunch of websites to link to his using that phrase (they can even be his own), and the search engine will think that with so many links, the site must be important, so it throws the site to the top of the list. Therefore, that site at the top of "miserable failure" is simply one where the owner searched around for people (or used his own other sites, or both) to link to his top site, and voila. His becomes number one. It's a trick, and the first googlebomb was actually a practical joke. Several webmasters got together and linked to an unsuspecting site owner with "talentless hack." That guy's site shot to the top of the list for those keywords. |

Nope no vote for Bush. He likened the Iraq war to WWII and that is a shameful thing to say in front of veterans. I've come to the conclusion that there are no 2 main parties... they are 2 branches of the same tree. |

I agree with Smooth Criminal here as well as others that support George W. Bush. I think the man is a decent person, necessary trait to President of the USA. He is trying to bring back good old fashion values and morals to this country. And about the war in Iraq, no one likes war, even Bush doesn't like the war, but like sometimes, it is necessary. Why people here in the USA critizice Bush and don't support him, when he is our President, the President of OUR country? Accussing Bush of the war but people forget about 9/11 and what happened with so many terrorist attacks. All I can say is that I WILL VOTE FOR BUSH!!!!!!!!! |

AS far as the war goes, we will fight these people, it was inediable. But either we fight them over in the Middle East, or we fight them on American Soil. There is no other way around it. What would you choose, fight them over there or over here. Think about that. |

I have lived life for a 50 years and I have NEVER seen so many people HURT by a political ruling party as I have seen with Bush. I will not only NOT vote for him, I will politic on every street corner to make people AWARE of the things we seem to 'forget' ... Chances are there will be a 'finding' of Bin Laden right before election (political move for re-election) and other things to watch out for... Grandstanding is NOT a way to run a country. I do not and NEVER have liked the fact that our 'illustrious' president and his family has has very strong friendship and political ties with the Bin Laden's and Saddam... strong ties, those keep getting covered up with other things so the American people dont think about it, the "mind-set" here is that people ONLY think of what is at hand... so I can see a LOT of grandstanding by Mr. Bush between now and election... Grandstanding that he will NOT back up after elections, as proven with this term of office. The man is dangerous, he has too many TIES with what we think of as 'terrorism'... |

The whole war lie thing bothered me, and I dont think he does a good job. Its kind of earie a lot of people think he is the "anti-christ" also. I dont really care who is in office, anyone but him. Were trading freedom for security and im really not scared enough to lose my rights, I dont know how all of you feel, but some bad things could happen soon. I am not anti goverment at all, but a lot of this stuff has gotten out of hand. If we get attacked we get attacked, but id rather enjoy not being watched every second to see if im a terrorist. They can search your home now without prob cause. I mean, whats going on guys? Got Mike? |

Nope, I don't agree. I think Bush is a great president, he just elected at a bad time. He came in after Clinton who just sat on his DUFF and did nothing for 8 yrs. Our country was already in a recession when Bush took office. Things were on the downslide already. Bush is a victim of bad luck. It's not his fault 9-11 happened, there was a voting problem along with all the other crap he's had to deal with. I'll be voting to re-elect him in November. |

Since you seem intelligent enough to draw your own conclusions, I will offer you some thoughts for consideration. The momentum for removing the President is not coming from those with a positive message for America. [Eventually, the Ford dealer has to move beyond criticizing Chevys and tell the public why Fords are the right choice. I hear an overwhelming number of opinions why the President is wrong, but not many about why Senator Kerry is right. Surely, there must be a better campaign strategy for the Senator than that.] You say the President has failed to be a "decent politician." Please define or give an example of a decent politician. Your information on the deficit is correct; your interpretation of it is not. Don't look at the deficit as an absolute value; view it as a percentage of the Gross Domestic Product [GDP]. I think you'll find that it compares with other years and other administrations. In a growing economy such as ours, $400 billion is not much. Your comment about the possible thousands of starving people in America indicates you think the $100 billion should be given to them. Is this true? The President's decision on gay marriage may mean he is narrow-minded; I've never met anyone that accomplished anything who wasn't. If everything is OK, depending on someone's point of view, and no one can ever act on their belief that some behaviors are wrong, for fear of offending another whose views are also strong, then this country will stagnate as we rot from the inside. You are a good writer; continue to use your talent for causes you feel passionate about. |

From a european's perspective i can tell you that Bush has made a very bad impression on people over here. Most people outside the US don't trust his motives or his competance. I think an important aspect of the man leading the most powerful country in the world, should be whether or not he has the respect of the people outside the US whose lives will be affected by him. Just another angle to consider. |
