I'm looking for a good middle name for Archer

Right now I'm 6 months pregnant I'm having a boy. I had some name ideas but hubby came up with the name Archer. I'm partial to it becouse it's not a very modern traditional name and not dorky so I think I'll go with it for now. That said would anyone have any ideas for a not so used middle name? Is there any alternative ways of spelling Archer? Thanx for your help guys.

Date: 6/3/2004 10:08:00 PM  From Authorid: 57232    Don't throw anything at me..promise...This would be cute and a real conversation piece, how about Beau (pronounced Bo), Archer Beau! or is Orion the archer in the sky?? If so Archer Rion?
Date: 6/3/2004 10:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 57232    Now that is weird! Sun Angel suggested the same thing for my second one...it's a sign!
Date: 6/3/2004 10:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 57232    And oh yeah, Archer is an interesting name enough to not need an alternative spelling
Date: 6/3/2004 10:29:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 36079    ehh, Beau wouldn't go good becouse his last name will be Bissell, lol. Rion or even Orion sound interesting though.
Date: 6/3/2004 10:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 10754    " Doyle "

Date: 6/3/2004 11:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 62146    ..........or instead of Archer Blair Bissell. Archer Josh Bissell.
Date: 6/3/2004 11:26:00 PM  From Authorid: 50434    Ethan, i dont like that name but Archer Ethan Bissell sounds good. Hmm Blake sounds good too. Congrats btw on the baby...=+)~
Date: 6/3/2004 11:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 36704    do you honestly believe the kid won't be made fun of for having the name Archer
Date: 6/4/2004 12:41:00 AM  From Authorid: 11348    Forgive me for this comment, I'll say it only because you say you're partial to the name, but I'm with Base on this one. Your poor kid is going to get it bad from other kids, being named Archer.... However, you might try Babynames.com for a good middle name to go with Archer.
Date: 6/4/2004 3:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 44321    I too was going to say Ryan and then saw Sun Angel had the same suggestion, weird huh ?
Date: 6/4/2004 7:44:00 AM  From Authorid: 35720    I really don't like the name Archer.. kids WILL make fun of him for it, trust me.. I'm not trying to be mean.
Date: 6/4/2004 8:25:00 AM  From Authorid: 62745    How about using "Allen" for a middle name, or "Anthony". Any other names begainning with "A" or whatever begainning letter that your last name starts with should also fit well.
Date: 6/4/2004 8:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 62745    OK. Made up my mind after reading everyones comments. "Archer Allen Bissel". That's it. Don't be scared off by how you think other kids will respond to him. I have two children, & gave alot of consideration to thier names. Never-the-less, kids still make fun of thier names, & my kids say you should have named me ___________ ( what-ever-fits-that-day ). I like Archer. I think that it sounds good, is unique, and would be appropriate in a professional enviroment ( lawyer, politician, teacher, etc. ). Go with Archer, & I think that Allen would fit excellent as a second name. G/L & congradulations on your pregnacy!!!!
Date: 6/4/2004 9:35:00 AM  From Authorid: 13119    Archer James, or AJ for short
Date: 6/4/2004 9:36:00 AM  From Authorid: 13119    that way when he is older if he wants to have a traditional name as well he has one.
Date: 6/4/2004 11:14:00 AM  From Authorid: 59418    I like Magoo's idea!
Date: 6/4/2004 2:13:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 36079    Ohh there is always some way u can make fun of a kids name, my name spelled backwards reads assiram. (use ur imagination) My husbands name is Ronald so people call him Ronald Mcdonald. To me just becouse something is not the norm doesn't mean it's uncool, actually I consider it unique. 62745, actually..... your not supposed to name a kid with a the first or ending letters the same as another part of it's name. That's what it says in my baby name book anyway. It mostly goes for first and last names though. But Allen is hubbies middle name.
Date: 6/4/2004 7:16:00 PM  From Authorid: 52489    Hehehe. How about "Featherstone", or "Fletcher"?
Date: 6/4/2004 8:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 3836    This is not serious, but I think it would be awesome if you named your boy Archer Fonzarelli!
