I also loved this book...I am not a big crier...but this book had me in tears several times...especially the part with Susie's father and the ships-in-the bottles. I would totally recommend this book to ANYONE. Did you know that there is a controversy about the end with the icicle? Pretty interesting!  |

This is my favorite book. I LOVED it. Like you, I couldn't put it down. I would recommend it to anyone also. After I read it, I went out and bought her other book called ' Lucky.' Which is an autobiography basically about her experience o being raped. Both great books and I love her as a author!  |

I hated this book. I didn't really see the point of it :-/ I thought the author overdid the detailing too. I guess I'm just not one for those types of books lol   |

Oh My Gaw! I looove that book! I am soo happy my best friend, cody let me read it. It took me like 3 days, but i wasnt reading constantly and when we did read, it was before bed and we got tired. lol  |

great book! i read it a couple of years ago and i couldn't put it down. you might want to read lucky, also by alice sebold. it was almost as good. i just finished sam's letters to jennifer by james patterson and it was really good!!  |
