The Rocking Chair

it was me and my mother home alone cleaning. i was downstairs vacuuming as my mother had asked of me. we were having company over later that day and she wanted the house to be cleaned. she came downstairs a few moments later and unplugged the vacuum with a startled look on her face. i didnt know what was going on. she asked how long i had been down there in which i replied...about 10 minutes. she asked who was upstairs sitting in the rocking chair and i had said...no one that i know of. she told me she had actually carried on a conversation with someone she thought was me upstairs in my dads reclining rocking chair. and that out of the corner of her eye she could see it rocking back and forth. she said she had asked 'me' to run to the post office to mail a letter, to which 'i' replied...ok. but it wasnt me. and when she came downstairs to do the laundry, she was freaked out by the fact i hadnt been upstairs at all...

i went upstairs to investigate and all the doors leading into the house was locked. no one was inside my house except my mother and i. to this day, we dont know what went on...
