there might be few debates but those that are posted often are the ones with the msot replies. of course, ti is hard to come up with something new after the multitude of abortion, death penalty and homosexuality debates.  |

i find a debate or two a day do you have "debate" checked off on the "do not want to see" list??(it's in your bio) i agree debates arn't as active as some other catagories it's a flaw that some debates can get nasty and down right vicious!  |

I personally like a good debate once in awhile..but I think there is not to many debates because of the attitudes some get. Some cant keep it friendly or feel they have to debate with attacks or insults...that is not a fun debate for me and I personally perfer to stay away from those type of debaters. ~~~Humming Bird  |

Yes, I will just repeat JYNX's reply: "Because most people don't want to debate, They just want to tell you how they feel and have you accept their opinion." and I will add: They want to Preach, proslytize, and get others to say "Amen!"; they don't know what : To Debate, means, and get all huffy when one presents FACTS to refute or rebuttal their claims. I just as soon those people keep it to discussion or some other category. Many can't stand the "heat" of Debates.   |
