Its pretty self explanatory and it will walk you through it. If you don't have an account there get one and go from there. You need a credit card as well. |

Well, I think it gives you instructions but myself or my family haven't sold anything on it because it does cost a fee. I don't know how much, I think it depends on what you have or something? |

Nope, I don't know how to sell things on Ebay..just how to BUY things on E-Bay LOL. That whole thing with college texts is so crazy..you never know when they're gonna get a new edition, I know they wouldn't even take one of mine back at all last semester..so be thankful they offered $2 (even though that IS cheap..I always got at least $10 back if they bought it.) |

Sign up. They might need your credit card number to sign up. If you don't have one or don't want to send them that information, you can fax Verisign some bills and a pic of your license. It cost $5. The first week I sold on EBay, I made over $300. Clothes almost always sell. I have had good luck with books and clothes. I kind of slacked off on EBay. But you can easily make a living off of it. EBay is more for the seller than the buyer. I was tracking digital cameras for about a week and couldn't find a really good deal. Alot of the bidders will wait til the last few minutes ("sniping"then that's when all the bids start pouring in. The buyer can find things he wouldnt normally find though. You have the options of putting the ad on for 3 days, 5 days or 7 days. I use 7 days because it gives more people the chance to see it. It shows you how many people have looked at your item. You also have the option of selling it at a set price and they can buy it on the spot. You can set a reserve price in the auction. That means when you auction something off, if it doesnt meet the amount you wanted, you don't have to sell it. EBay sells you alot of bells and whistles to grab bidders attention if you want to purchase them. But if you don't have a high priced item, I would just stick to the basics. There is a small listing fee. About 35 cents and EBay also takes a certain percentage of what you sell the item for. You can pass the shipping and handling onto the buyer if you want. I am getting more into silk screening and am going to be selling t-shirts on there. |
