This year that's just passed has
tested my will
although it's over
forgett it, I never will
I sit back
and see how much I've grown
I can't believe
I feel so old
just a collection of 300 or so days
a wishing well without a cent of change
I'm a point I've never been
an empty slate, a time to rebegin

So I'm just rambling
endlessly upon this page

my lifes gained purpose
finally answered why
and to think for a moment
I thought I might die
to think about kinda makes me laugh
a drink raised to the past
an empty glass
there infront of me
a couple friends
but not a word to speak
I don't think they'd understand
exactly what I've seen
exactly where I've been
