That sounds very interesting Becky. Is it something you like? What are you going to do with it? -Sunni818 |

I hate my job. I am a salesclerk. But I am also in college, so I won't be doing this forever. My major is criminology, and I'd love to go to graduate school and eventually teach and do research, or counsel offenders. |

I wanted to be a Navy pilot, but I have no depth perception (a no no for flying). I've done so many different jobs since then, but the only one I really liked was working as a Contrator for the Military and getting to travel all over the world. I don't like my current job, but jobs are scarce for what I do (computer software development and support). |

Yep I feel that way too. I'm an accountant and I don't like it at all. I mean..it pays the bills and I guess I'm good at it but if I had really thought about it I would have went into a more creative field. Business bores the heck out of me. But I went for the $$$$$. If I could go back to school it would be in the horticulture field. I want to grow things and make pretty arrangements. |

I am currently workin in security while going back to school. I left a job with the federal government in 2001 that I had held since 1987, just short of 15 years. I had assumed that I would hold it until retirement. I was wrong. I held a position that I came to hate then spent 3 years fighting my way into another job. Within 2 years of my new job, it was being outsourced. I did not have the required Masters degree to be a contractor so I faced either going back my my old hated job or quitting. I quit and have been in free fall ever since. |

I am a submarine pilot for the oil and gas exploration field. I love my job most of the time because I get to see lots of interesting things and meet interesting people. The part of my job that really bites is the fact that I have to be away from home for long periods of time. Right now, I am about 200 mi off the coast of Campeche Bay, Mexico, that's off the Yucatan Peninsula. Although I spend a lot of time away from home, I spend an equal amount of time AT home. So I guess it kind of evens out...... Hopefully, I will soon get to play music for a living, as soon as my CD is done........ |

Well, I left a catering job to go back to school. I am now studying to become an addictions coucellor and I absolutely love it!!! I'd love to work with teens, though I would work with anyone...I love to help people, so I guess it doesn't really matter who I work with, as long as i can help change someones life in a positive way! Cool post! |
