Egyptian Cults?

Is it true that there were Cults for Egyptian gods practiced in the Roman empire? (e.g. Cult of Isis and Anubis) I suppose it would be probable as the Romans did seem to intergrate other cultures into their vast empire, but what did these cults do that was different from the Egyptian religions?
