Ages ago in a time unknown there was a lush green valley called Fordor where King Drake ruled over all. Fordor was the kind of place where every heart was welcome and every man was apart of the brave army of King Drake. King drake watched over his land well with his staff at his side. His staff was made of a magical tree called whitewood that no longer existed among the land and at the very top of his staff was a precious jewel. The jewel was envied by all their enemys for it was a source of power that could be used for good or evil.

For ages the armies of Sir Rienhardt battled the brave men of Fordor in envy of King Drakes staff. Many men were killed but the staff was never taken from its maker. Until one night when darkness fell upon the valley of Fordor and the rain came heavy and danced on the armour of King Drakes men. The staff had been taken from the Kings very own hands by someone he had trusted his life with. Hermine the son of King Drake had lived two seperate lives. He had lusted for his fathers throne and power for his whole lifetime.

King Drake was unable to care for his son no longer. Hermines heart had grown cold and bitter. Sir Rienhardt had promised Hermine a place of royalty if he could get the staff from its maker..his own father. King Drakes men were able to get the staff back to him but they no longer trusted Hermine. The king put a spell on his own son and banished him from the valley of Fordor. The spell was to cripple Hermine and take away his good looks turning him to the ugliest creature of all the land. The spell was to only be broken when Hermines heart was pure once more.
