I remember when we met
So long ago
We were two years old
Parents couldn't let us go
I remember when we started
To finally grow up
Times at the lake

I remember our teens
When we both were insane

We grew a long lasting bond

But then we grew up
And high school has end
We're both off in college
And still trying to be friends

But the past did occur

If we both had different lovers
To walk hand and hand
