Voices screaming in my head
One says "left", the other "right"
I never know who to listen to
One says "run", the other "fight"
The difference between the two
The difference between bad and good
The difference between devils and angels
The consequence is tears and blood
Voices screaming at me constantly
They never go away
One leads only to bring me happiness
One only wants me to be lead astray
Sometimes the best choice
Is really the absolute worst
I'm so confused and so afraid
I feel as though I'm cursed
With a devil on my shoulder
And an angel in my heart
I can't seem to see who's right
I can't tell the two apart
Will this madness never end?
Will I forever be dancing between right and wrong
Will I hold the angel's hand?
Or will I sing the devil's song?
