Sorry but there isn't much you can do,until Monday and the bank has a chance to investigate it,and you get a chance to talk to the place that debited the money from your account, and unfortunatley the bank usually has 10 days to investigate it..So if it was an error..Then you will most likely be out the money for at least 10 days, and that's 10 buisness days |

p.s. Banks aren't usually known for making swift decisions, when it comes to money...looks bad to investors |

Pyriel...*sniffles* I feel like I'm gonna cry..lol.. I've got a sick feeling in my stomache right now. I'm glad that I checked my bank account before my check went through for rent otherwise I would of been in the hole without me knowing anything about it. Once Monday comes around the corner, they're gonna have one unhappy camper talking to them. I really need that money |

Pay what you can on your rent, explain to the landlord what happened, your account was charged for something you did not order, and it is being corrected, however you have to wait the proper steps through customer service at your bank. It will either bide you time until next payday, or give a stall for a few days to borrow the money from other sources (-: |

I've had something similar happen to me before. Hidden memberships and things like that are a HUGE aggravation and it shouldn't even be legal. Hope you get it fixed. |

Don't talk to them with a hothead..Otherwise you will only make things worse on yourself..Because they will really drag their feet then, and they can also extend their investigation past the 10 day limit...Just tell them what you know, and what may have happened..Then let them take it from there..I also agree with what Sur5R suggested..I doubt the landlord will throw a fit,as long as you have a substantial portion of the rent |

Sur5er....Our landlords have always been pretty good with us. They don't ususally cash my rent check right away either. Once we get a hold of this thing that we didn't order, We'll talk to our landlords to let them know what's going on. |

Pyriel...Since my fiance's name is on the membership account, he's going to talk to them. I'm sure that we can get this stupid membership canceled, but I'm really hoping that I can get my money back. 96 dollars is alot of money. |

This happened to me once for another reason. I went to the bank in person and talked to a personal banker. I had to sign a paper stating that I did not authorize the money to be deducted out of my account. She did her thing and credited it back to my account. If I were you, I would go there Monday in person, be calm and state that you did NOT authorize them to take this money from your account. Good luck! Oh, the frustrations of Electronic Transfers! Very convient, IF it's done right. |

i know how you feel. i rented a movie from blockbuster one time and asked my friend to return it for me. apparently, she never did. about 2 weeks later, 154 dollars was taken out of my bank account. (there was 2 movies and for some reason, they said that was the price to buy them in full) i told them i never got a late notice or anything and i thought they were returned. i got them from my friend and they credited my account. i suggest you wait until monday, talk to whomever you need to. explain to your landlord that you had a charge on your account that you were not expecting and will take care of it right away. sometimes those hidden fees are aweful! talk to whoever you need to to get the money back. i wish you the best |

Does this "Simply You" have a website? What about the vitamin company you ordered from? Even though it is the weekend, a lot of places are going to customer service 24/7, even if it is through e-mail or phone. It could get the ball rolling. Also, I would make plans to call either the attorney generals office in your area, or the Better Business Bureau, because if there is no statement in any of the literature of the company you ordered supplements from about a mandatory membership to "Simply You", that is not only deceiving, but I believe constitutes as fraud. As for your landlord, if you have a good relationship with him/her; pay a good portion of the rent, explain the situation, and let them know you will finish paying the rent either when you get this business cleared up, when you get your next paycheck, etc. Perhaps there is something ( a way you can have it put on your credit card, like how a hotel will hold a room on your credit card, but not put the charge through until you decide after your stay if you're putting the charges on credit or paying cash) and hold it that way until a certain date. If you don't have the cash back by then, they can put it to your credit, then when you get the $96 back, just put it straight toward your credit payment. I hate using credit cards, too. Heaven knows I'm trying to get myself out of debt by the plastic kiss of death, but sometimes it must be done. Good luck to you. And be sure to raise a stink about "Simply You" and the vitamin company. You can be nice about it, but you can also insure that they might not get as many more customers! |

Cage...something like that happened to be before also, only it was a Hollywood Videos. I rented a couple dvd's from there and I had turned them in on time. But I forgot to put a dvd back in one of the cases and they called me back FIVE DAYS LATER saying that I forgot to put the dvd back in and they expected me to pay for the late fee. Aren't they suppose to check the dvds when they get returned that same night or in the morning? Since I turned in those dvd's on time, I shouldn't have to pay for those late fees and it's their fault for not checking them properly. Once I got that phone call, I asked them if I had to pay for the fee and he said I had to which I didn't. I turned in that DVD right away. I never went back to Hollywood videos. |

Midnightly....When I ordered these pills, they gave us a 90 day warrent or whatever to try them out and if I didn't like them or notice any difference, I can get my money back. I have until May 27th to get my money back. I'm going to call them and tell them it's not working...which it isn't because I don't notice any different from the last time I called them. So I plan on getting my money back from what we paid and hopefully will get other things straightened to make sure that there are no other hidden fees. |
