Just to keep myself alive.
No one knows how much I bleed,
Just so that I can feel free.
No one knows how much I want,
Freedom from the feelings that haunt.
No one knows that I regret,
The fact that I cannot forget.
No one knows how much I pray,
Just to get this pain away.
No one knows how I long to be,
With friends and family that got to leave.
No one knows that constant neglect,
Had on me a lasting effect.
And no one knows how I wish to alter,
Things that will stay the same forever.
