One time I was really scared by a supernatural event was when my husband and I were using an ouija board about 3 1/2 years ago. Some of you have heard this story before-- but I'll summarize it for those of you that haven't. We were sitting on the floor, with the ouija board between us. The apartment was pitch black with the exception of candles that we had placed around the board. We were "talking" to a "spirit" when we got a horrible feeling that something was around us. This had happened before when we used the ouija board, but this time it was worse. The room turned cold and the air seemed almost...thick. (I don't remember what we were talking to the "spirit" about at the time, perhaps we asked for proof-- I really can't remember, maybe I should look at my old USM post about it. lol) All of a sudden to my right, a glass flew off the kitchen counter and shattered in the floor. I literally about freaked out. That scared me half to death. That is one of a few experiences I have had, but this one really did scare me-- it was at that point I really started to believe that maybe there was something to the ouija board other than just a simple question game. If someone had told ME this story I wouldn't believe it, but it really did happen, and it's something I have no explanation for.  |

I was 14 or 15 and home alone. I was sleeping and i could have swore I heard the phone ring. So i wake up to see who called and when I looked there was something at the end of my bed looking out my window. I threw the covers over my head and started crying and pinching my self to make sure I was awake. I moved the covers and looked at it. It turned away from the window and pointed at me. I flew out of that room so fast and turned every light in the house on. My dad got home and woke me up and asked why I was sleeping on the couch. I told him and he said maybe it was my mom (deceased) and I should have talked to it. Yeah and if it talked back i'd be dead of a heart attack or in a padded room. I slept on the couch for the next year and still to this day have almost every light in the house on and the tv when I go to sleep, and when ever I hear a noise at night I go into an anxity attack. I was and still am scared out of my wits! lol -Sunni818  |

I beleive you Dizzy Me. One time My friends and I were playing with one and we were already freaked out and my dad came home and I thought he was going to beat all of us to a pulp, I have never seen him so mad!! He told my friend that brought it to get it out of his house and I was never to use one again. I think he had a bad experience! And I had a few weird ones so I won't touch the things ever again! -Sunni818 |

About a year ago I think, maybe two. Either way it wasn't to long after I'd moved downstairs. It was about 12:30am and I was just starting to drift off to sleep, but not quite there yet. I could hear all the usual sounds of the night etc. Suddenly I could hear NOTHING. I tried to move, only to discover that I could not move AT ALL. I was abosultely scared that my body wouldn't move. Then I began to hear a voice. A deep reverberating distored voice right in my ears. I couldn't understand it but I knew it was not a positive thing. I tried to scream at first but of course nothing happened. I calmed myself as best I could and began to recite over and over in my head, "You have no power over me, by my own will I order you to leave!" After about three times BANG. Voice gone, hearing back and I could move.  |

I havent had an paranormal freak outs with ghost or ouija board but about a year ago i was driving home from a friends house that lived about 45 minutes away and it was really late at night.From his driveway there was only one road i had to turn off on to get to 155 the road that led to my house.I turned off on that road and was ON 155,so i was driving maybe 15 or 20 minutes and all of a sudden it starts turning into a dirt road, i started feeling uneasy at that time but i kept driving and then all of a sudden it was a DEAD END!I backed up and turned around so fast,because i know for a fact that on a major road like 155 there is NO dead ends...so i start back driving the opposite way and eventually i made it to my house but i was on 155 THE WHOLE TIME!! Now i will not drive whatsoever by myself that late at night over there  |

I truly don't know if this was paranormal or an overactive imagination. A few months after my father's death, I was home on vacation from college. After midnight, I sat in the living room reading a an anthology of ghost stories. Suddenly, I hear sounds like foot steps walking across the basement and going onto the stairs. The basement was my father's special space. I can't tell you how fast I shot up the stairs to my bedroom and pulled the cover's over my head. It never happened again in that house.  |

well about 7-8 months ago me and my sister were over at my friends house and we wanted to try to bring a spirit to talk to us but it diddnt work but about 5 min. after we did that my sister started staring at the wall and when i said something to her she diddnt say anything. thats when me and my friend started freaking out because we knew something had possessed her.we were so scared but we kept on askin questions and after bout 15min. she started saying some stuff about this place and everything that was around there, thats when my friend realized it was one of her friends who passed away a long time ago and she basically told us how she died and once that happened my sister came back to her regular self and she says she diddnt remember anything that she had said......it was really scary and i hope that i never have to see anything like that again because i was afraid for my sister....**HUGS**  |

when i was little i used to see these people walking by my bedroom door they looked like they belonged in the 50's and they were going to a party. later my brother and i were talking and we were talking about that and he said his floorboards would creak almost everynight around 11 and it scared him so bad he would jump in bed and stay there. my mom also said one night she was up late working in that house and saw a black shadow walk in front of her door and she got up to see if it was me but i was in bed my dad was in bed and my brother was too and we were all asleep. then onetime my brothers stereo turned on by itself and the volume shot up really really loud and i ran in there to yell at him but he was sitting on his bed white as anything and said he looked up and saw the knob turning. there were also two spots in my house that i just hated being in they gave me chills. i still get chills thinking about those spots but we have since moved and had no problems  |
