The day was very ordinary
Nothing was expected

Her skin spoke of sand and foam
His heart was in a kerchief.
Words in a steady river
The step so quick and lively
Laughter coming easily
His soul turning with a shiver.
Events moved fast and quick
Two hearts meeting and dancing
Stars shining on a special moment
Events and people so fast and thick.
But details can be hidden
Or overlooked in a moment's heat
Even the most careful planner
May find his heart suddenly riven.
Small things can also grow
Like an accumulated interest
Or bills long overdue
From such things do problems show!
From such a wedding pain appears
And when one will not act
And the other must take it on
Then comes suffering and tears.
Thus do unions fall apart
And when two do then become one
Again to battle tides
And wonder about the horse before the cart.
