Should I move house? This is fairly urgent....thanks

Hi, I need some major help here. Sorry this is so long....My mom and step dad own two properties, one home they live in and the other that I am renting from them. (They built this house for us as an investment property). My fiance and kids and I have been living here for a little over a year now. Last night I got a knock on the door from my step father who had a propisition for us; He and my mom have been scouting out other properties for a while now in search for something even better than what they have now, well I guess they finally decided on a home with beautiful property and views and are wanting to make an offer on it. They don't want to sell the home they currently live in because they have done alot of work on it since they built 5 years ago and it holds alot of value. Instead they asked us if we would consider moving into that house and renting it from them for a little more than what we pay for this one. They want to sell this one as it is not that big a deal to them as the other house is. Their house is enormous and sits on 2 acres, it has all the features that I could ever want except I just don't feel excited about it. My fiance jumped on it and said "yes" straight away but I just felt sick to my stomach. Why is that?? I guess in one way I know it would be alot of work in keeping after the property and I'm scared that something might go wrong and with two small kids, they tend to cause a little ware and tear on a house. I want to help them out as much as I can so they don't have to go and sell it but I'm just a little worried about everything. I guess I just need reassurance that things will work out just fine. Can you see that happening? Should I move into their house if they buy another house? Also I am worried about my current finances as they are, will they get worse If I move? PS. What makes is worse is they didn't really give me time to sit down and think about it, they pretty much need and answer straight away so they can make an offer on the house.
